PathGlot vs Langua
I build PathGlot, so this is a builder's honest take rather than a hit piece. Langua and PathGlot both get you talking to an AI out loud. The difference is where the conversation sits.
The short version: Langua is a strong floating conversation partner. You pick a topic or a roleplay, you speak, you get corrections. What Langua is good at
Langua is good at open conversation. It does not need a lesson number to start. You can talk about your day, run a roleplay, or wander, and the voice is a large part of why people stay: it sounds closer to a person than a lot of tutor apps.

PathGlot grounds the talk. You are not staring at a chat. You are standing on a real street in Madrid, Paris, Tokyo, or another of the cities we cover, and the guide only speaks the language you're learning. What's around you is the prompt: a menu, a corner, a sign you can actually see.
That sounds small until you try it. A floating conversation lets you stay in topics you already like. A street keeps handing you the world. You ask for directions because there is a street. Where PathGlot falls short

Isn't talking to an AI the same in any app?
The voice can be similar. The prompt is not. In a chat app you invent the scene, or you pick one from a list. In PathGlot the scene is a real street you can look around, and the guide reacts to it. That is the whole product difference.
Can PathGlot replace an AI conversation app?
